Sewing Note!!! - We've had some questions about how to sew the circles in the center of each block.
The center wheels are appliqued, not pieced. The steps are shown in a slideshow at the bottom of this page.
Fabric Kit Details
Many of you asked for close-ups showing where specific fabrics in the kit are used. Here are 3 photos from the white Patio Garden quilt to help you out.

Each of the 4 flowers in the block on the bottom-right are made from a different red fabric. Choose the reds you like best.
We'll post close-ups from the yellow quilt once we have it back in hand to photograph.
Here is Aunt Millie's Garden—our newest block of the month! The package includes 12 full-size patterns for the 14 x 14 blocks.

The borders are full-size—one segment is repeated for the top and bottom borders and another segment is repeated for the side borders. Also included is a booklet with all of the information that you need to make this lovely, cheerful quilt!
Don't miss it! Look further down this column for detailed instructions on how to construct the "wheel" at the center of each block.
$17.95

Finished size: 70 x 75 1/2
We made 2 smaller versions (44 1/2 x 44 1/2) of the Aunt Millie quilt in our new fabric. Aren't they cute! AND - there's now a 3rd quilt in the June issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. Click here to order fabric kits for these little beauties.
Here's how you make the center "wheel" off-the-block. This particular wheel is going into a smaller version of the Lorna's Vine quilt that is in Amish-Inspired Quilts. This is a big wheel - the block it goes on has a finished size of 6" x 6".
The wheels in the center of the Aunt Millie's Garden blocks are smaller but the construction technique is the same.
I wrote notes to go with each image, explaining what I'm doing in each step. Run your cursor over "Notes" on the bottom right side of the slideshow and they should show up.
