1-Day (6-Hour) Workshops: $650
2-Day Workshops: $1300
Multi-day Workshops: $650
20 students maximum, additional students $35 each (per day) by permission of instructor.
I limit the number of students in my classes so that I can spend time with each student on an individual basis. In certain situations, it is possible to have more students, but this limits the one on one time with each pupil.
1 Hour Lecture: $400
Other Expenses including travel, meals, and lodging are listed in my contract.
Prices are locked in once a contract is signed.
I use a digital camera and projector in my classes. The image of what my hands are doing is projected onto a screen (or white wall). This allows each student to clearly see the techniques that I am demonstrating. You will love it!
For workshops I'll need 2 tables, a long heavy duty extension cord, duct tape to tape the cords down, and an iron and ironing board. It's best to have a reflective screen but a blank white wall can also work.
For lectures I'll need 1-2 tables, a long heavy duty extension cord, duct tape to tape the cords down. I will also need a suitable table to set the projector and laptop computer on. It's best to have a reflective screen for lectures. If you meet during the day, be sure that you can darken the room. If you have quilt racks I'm happy to hang 1-3 quilts.

I have taken many classes from world known quilting instructors in Houston and other locations. The classes I took from Becky in Petoskey, Michigan was the BEST I have ever had. She is by far the best instrutor I have had the priviledge of meeting. Thank You Becky! — Carol M. from Drummond Island, Michigan
I just wanted to thank you for coming to our guild's meeting Thursday night and for the great workshop! You are an excellent teacher and I appreciated the one-to-one time you took moving about the room. The camera/computer hook-up was a great idea and a wonderful teaching tool.
Thank you for such clear and precise descriptions and sharing of your appliqué techniques. The overlay vinyl placement guide is so much better than freezer paper templates! My hand stitches never looked better and holding the needle a new way is becoming second nature. It will be a pleasure reading through your books, knowing I can now accomplish any of the designs- even Santa's tiny moustache.
I've definitely caught "needle fever"...you have inspired me to create more beautiful hand appliqué the Piece 'O Cake way!
Thank you so much — Judy A. from Indianapolis
Becky, I’ve been doing appliqué for MANY years and love it. When you wanted me to change my way of stitching I wasn’t sure I could do it. But you are such a great teacher that I persisted and now absolutely love my new skill. You have opened up new worlds to me with the things I learned. I’m only sorry I don’t have more hours in the day. Thank you so much for sharing your skills with us.
I have a really important quilt to make in the next few years and now have the nerve to get started! Thank you, thank you. — Sue D from Knoxville
