We are pretty particular about the thread we use for our hand applique. We always use 100% cotton thread when sewing cotton fabric. For applique, we want a fine, strong 2-ply cotton thread.
Of the threads available on the market today, we find ourselves using Aurifil 50 weight thread most often. We are happy to make this thread available to you. Click here for more information about thread and what the numbers printed on the spool actually mean.
